With every upcoming school year the needs of my kids change. Last year Evan got his license, William got his permit and Dylan got his first cell phone. This year it’s Robert’s turn! My belief has always been that elementary aged kids do not need a cell phone but we’re a large, busy family and our needs have changed. I need all of my kids to be accessible at any time, to give me my peace of mind and for their safety, but we all know that having a cell phone, or rather getting a kid his own cell phone, can be pricey.
However, it’s plans like Simple Choice Plan by T-Mobile that make it possible to meet your mobile needs without breaking the bank. For only $50 you get unlimited talk, text and data with no overage or annual service contracts! This will not only allow me to keep in close contact with Robert and my kids but it also gives me the security of knowing that there won’t be any hidden charges.
Our Three Main Needs:
1. A phone that will allow me to keep in contact with Robert and my kids but it also assures that there won’t be any hidden charges.
2. My kids live for their music. They do everything from walk to school with it on to doing chores while they listen to their favorite songs. While I love and encourage that, I have encountered countless issues and disagreements over data usage.
3. Tablets are another must in my house, but that too can become expensive if you have a few tablets. I want to kill two birds with one stone and be able to add any or all of the tablets in our house for an affordable price.

I won’t be getting our kids a phone til they can pay it themselves, but a prepaid phone is a good route if you do!

I couldn’t agree more about the data thing! We always listen to music in my house and on the road so having unlimited data with no hidden fees is very important. 🙂

I had hard time when my daughter got a phone at 11, but her daddy insisted. It is calming to know you can reach them when needed…..well most of the time!
Enjoy those kiddos, time flies, my two are both leaving in two weeks for college.. hard!

We use T-mobile {but just for my husband and I} and we love it. They have the best coverage in our area and the price is good, too!

The only way to get in touch with myself or my fiance is through our cell phone since we don’t have a landline – a quality plan with excellent service coverage is crucial!

Because it is so easy to get carried away streaming data or texting loved ones, it is so hard to keep track

Having a good phone plan is very necessary because it is cheaper and other lines can be added in the same plan. Also rollover data is an advantage. I love my phone plan.

I am dreading the day I have to start adding my kids to my plans I know they will be data hogs. It sounds like TMobile has really reasonable plans to check out.
