Do these look yummy or what?! I’m not the best cook, but I do love to whip up easy recipes like this Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bite recipe I found on the Kraft Recipe Hub. These appetizers pack a whole lot of flavor into a tiny bite that everyone loved when I made them for New Years Eve. These are perfect for the holidays or just about any gathering!
With ingredients like bacon (who doesn’t love bacon?), chicken marinated in a tangy sauce, sharp white cheddar cheese, and fresh parsley, all on top of a classic favorite cracker, like RITZ, you really don’t need much else in a appetizer and It doesn’t take much more than baking them for a few minutes to make. I spent most of New Years Eve lounging around trying to take it easy but whipping up these Bacon Chicken Bites was so simple! The best part for me that most of these ingredients were already sitting in my fridge and I was able to buy the rest at Walmart. I seasoned the chicken in the mustard and worcestershire sauce and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
Then I wrapped them in bacon and broiled it for ten minutes. I threw the cheese on the crackers and popped them in the oven for five minutes and topped it with the bacon, chicken, and chopped parsley. Everyone was impressed and devoured every little piece I made.
Ingredients:
3Tbsp. GREY POUPON Savory Honey Mustard, divided
2Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
1large boneless skinless chicken breast (6 oz.), cut into 24 pieces
8slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into thirds
4oz. CRACKER BARREL Vermont Sharp-White Cheddar Cheese, cut into 12 slices
24RITZ Crackers
2tsp. chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
MIX 2 Tbsp. mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Add to chicken in shallow glass dish; toss to coat. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
HEAT broiler. Wrap bacon around chicken; secure with toothpicks. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 10 min. or until bacon is crisp and chicken is done, turning after 5 min.
HEAT oven to 350°F. Remove toothpicks. Cut cheese slices in half. Place crackers on baking sheet; top with cheese. Bake 4 to 5 min. or until melted. Top with chicken and remaining ingredients.
