Every time I head out to buy some Christmas gifts I’m distracted by anything girly for Olivia. It can be stuffed animal, dolls or these girls Christmas outfits at T.J. Maxx. I can barely keep my focus and always end up spending way more on her first Christmas gifts than I intended to. After five boys can you blame me? I just can’t believe in a few months I’ll have another girl and I know she’ll get some good use out of all of the outfits I’m buying now.

A little burgundy can easily be used as Christmas outfit too!

The selection of girls Christmas outfits at T.J. Maxx where so cute but they also had outfits that were a little dressier and would be perfect for the holidays as well. If want to make them more festive you can add a pop of red with a headband like this one or shoes like these.

This outfit was on clearance for about $7 and it does look a little summery but I bet it would look great with a dressy jacket like this one that I bought at Target.

This sweater dress looks way better in person and the crown would make it perfect for pictures!

I got ended up buying Olivia an all beige dress with a fur trim collar (not shown here because I want to take pictures of her in it), beige opaque tights and silver ballerina shoes. For Christmas Eve she’ll wear a My First Christmas outfit or pajama that will match with Joseph (if I can manage to find a matching pair). I’m not to fussy about their Christmas Eve outfit because I want them to be comfy and able to play with their gifts. These girls Christmas outfits at T.J. Maxx have the perfect balance!

Where are you guys shopping for Christmas outfits?

Kohl's Jumping Beans For Olivia

To say that I buy Olivia lots of clothes is a huge understatement! I don’t think there’s a trip to the store where I don’t buy her something like clothes, socks, shoes, toys and, my personal favorite thing to buy her, accessories. I’ve recently become a paci clip and headband addict (my favorite ones are from Loved By Sophia Claire) and if I see any little leggings with some sort of ruffle on the back (like the shorts seen below from Kohl’s Jumping Beans line), I immediately want to buy them. After five boys, can you blame me? Yeah, I didn’t think so!

A couple of days ago I made a stop at Kohl’s, which I haven’t done since Easter, and I immediately made a bee line to the kids department. Normally I’d be trying to find myself new shoes or something, but shopping for Olivia is way more fun! Now, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve never had a girl, or maybe I just didn’t notice before, but Kohl’s Jumping Bean line for kids is SUPER cute. They always have the amazing sales on them which perfect, because they even have bigger sizes and are perfect for back to school.

This is the time of year that I score a TON of clothes for us on the cheap because while everyone is out buying for the fall, we’re still wearing (and buying) summer clothes which, you guessed it, is on sale. Kohl’s had sales on both (you find everything I bought here ) summer and brand new fall items, so I bought a little bit of both!

I don’t always buy on sale items. I do splurge on some items, but Olivia’s still pretty tiny and only about 15-16 pounds (she’s a thin one) and nothing fits her the way it should, so I pick pieces that run smaller and are affordable so I won’t feel so bad when she grows out of it every month or so.

Her favorite doll and rattle. The doll was actually a gift that was given to me by Franklyn a couple of years ago. I love dolls and have tons of them for Olivia. The plush rattle I’m pretty sure came from Walmart.

Kohl’s Jumping Beans Tunic tank $3.99 and lace trimmed leggings $3.99!

These were both $3.99 as well! Look at those little bubble shorts , aren’t they the cutest!? I’ve always bought her the leggings with ruffles but never found them on shorts. I would have bought them in all sorts of colors but these were the only pair left. Might order some bigger sizes online! 🙂

These graphic onesies were 50% and only $6! Lots of styles to choose but these were my favorite!

Oh, and I almost forgot about the little deer mary jane shoes I bought her last week from Target’s Cat & Jack line! I saw them online and went running to find her size! Most of the stuff were sold out so I guess I was lucky to even find the shoes! SO cute and only $7.99. Most shoes are still too big on Olivia so I guess you can say it was meant to be that these cuties fit! 🙂

For those of you with little girls, where do you shop?

~ At The Moment

This week has been long and literally painful! I cracked a tooth and haven’t had time to get it fixed and it finally caught up with me. The pain was so bad I was crying! I managed to get some medication but it was already after 9 and all the nearby phamarcies were closed. Franklyn and I had to drive about 45 minutes away to a 24-hour pharmacy to get the prescriptions filled. Hoping I can get it fixes asap! In the meantime, I’ve been searching on pinterest for ways to arrange the new closets we’ll have in two weeks and I came up with some inspiration off of pinterest.

Me: Besides being in pain, I have officially had enough with my wardrobe, so I’ve been buying a few pieces here and there. I bought a pretty wrap dress (perfect to camouflage the stubborn pooch I still have) and a trapeze dress (below). I’m hoping that they will both work with my favorite sandals (see below).

Boys: Joseph has discovered soccer and he is a natural! He runs around all day kicking every ball he finds. Next week Robert is graduating the fifth grade and last week he went to Sea World with his class. I can’t believe he’s headed to middle school, time is just flying by! Dylan is also graduating 8th grade and headed to high school.

Olivia: Olivia turned 3 months last Thursday and I completely forgot to take a picture with her 3 month sticker. I did, however, get a picture of her first time at the mall. I’m just so obsessed with her and want to buy her every little outfit I see.

Craving: A few weeks back my cousin came down from Brooklyn to baptize Olivia (see a few pics below) and she made the most amazing baked ziti! Everyone loved it so much that I made sure I got the recipe before she left! I finally got around to making it and I’ll be sharing the entire recipe soon.

Wearing: While out getting my meds for my toothache I bought some new makeup. Among my finds was NYX Pore Filler and NYX Contouring Stick. I haven’t tried the stick yet, but the pore cover-up is just amazing and only cost $11.99.

It's A GIRL!

Well guys, I’m pregnant! I’ve been meaning to make the announcement here on the blog but I’ve been so busy with work and doctors appointments. I found out last week that I’m having a girl and I’m still pretty shocked about it. After having five boys, I never thought I’d see the day where Id be having a girl. With every pregnancy I just assume that I was having a boy. I love being a boy mom. This time it was a bit different for me because I knew it was girl. Also, the timing was perfect! She’s due to be born on March 10th, the exact same week Joseph was born. I’m already thinking of all the fun I will be having celebrating and decorating for both of their parties! Ahhhh I cannot believe it!

It's A GIRL!

It's A GIRL!

I, of course, already started shopping for her and I already know exactly what style I want to dress her in…I cannot wait to meet her!
