Every time I head out to buy some Christmas gifts I’m distracted by anything girly for Olivia. It can be stuffed animal, dolls or these girls Christmas outfits at T.J. Maxx. I can barely keep my focus and always end up spending way more on her first Christmas gifts than I intended to. After five boys can you blame me? I just can’t believe in a few months I’ll have another girl and I know she’ll get some good use out of all of the outfits I’m buying now.

A little burgundy can easily be used as Christmas outfit too!

The selection of girls Christmas outfits at T.J. Maxx where so cute but they also had outfits that were a little dressier and would be perfect for the holidays as well. If want to make them more festive you can add a pop of red with a headband like this one or shoes like these.

This outfit was on clearance for about $7 and it does look a little summery but I bet it would look great with a dressy jacket like this one that I bought at Target.

This sweater dress looks way better in person and the crown would make it perfect for pictures!

I got ended up buying Olivia an all beige dress with a fur trim collar (not shown here because I want to take pictures of her in it), beige opaque tights and silver ballerina shoes. For Christmas Eve she’ll wear a My First Christmas outfit or pajama that will match with Joseph (if I can manage to find a matching pair). I’m not to fussy about their Christmas Eve outfit because I want them to be comfy and able to play with their gifts. These girls Christmas outfits at T.J. Maxx have the perfect balance!

Where are you guys shopping for Christmas outfits?

I’m a get out there and shop kinda of girl! I find the hustle and bustle of the stores exciting and believe it or not the lines don’t bother me (unless I have the kids). Maybe its because I worked retail for over 10 years, but the craziness that is black friday is something Ive always looked forward to. Fast forward to me now as a mom of 6 (almost 7) Cyber Monday has now become my major shopping day. I love having the options and I even manged to get out (click here to see weekends pics on Instagram) and buy a few toys this past friday but today, Cyber Monday, is the day I sit at home and shop my little heart out! At The Moment

School starts Monday morning! I know most moms get all excited about getting the kids out of the house, but I actually enjoy having them home all summer. We’ve been trying to squeeze in a little bit of last minute fun before schools starts because I worked a ton of hours these past few months and I don’t think we got to do as much as we wanted to. Last weekend we saw Ghostbusters and just yesterday, Franklyn and I snuck out to watch Bad Moms (it was hilarious). Thankfully it’ll still feel like summer for a few more months and even though I’m already buying pumpkin candles (yes I’m one of those girls lol), we can definitely still hit up the beach.

The Boys

Shopping for a picky high school freshman and a brand new middle schooler can be tricky. Everything has to fit a certain way and be a particular color and I can’t just go shop locally, they want their clothes to stand out. I try my best to meet all their expectations because they really do deserve it.

Few picks for Robert from Ross and Nordstrom. He’s really into button ups this year and he picked these out all by himself.

We’re attempting to start potty training Joseph and while he understands the process, I think it might still be a little early.

I just bought Olivia a unicorn wall hanging and some frames, I can’t wait to decorate!

Some Nordstrom Anniversary sale pieces I bought for Olivia (I told you I buy her a lot of clothes).

Nothing new here, still working on making time to have a little more fun.

Kohl's Jumping Beans For Olivia

To say that I buy Olivia lots of clothes is a huge understatement! I don’t think there’s a trip to the store where I don’t buy her something like clothes, socks, shoes, toys and, my personal favorite thing to buy her, accessories. I’ve recently become a paci clip and headband addict (my favorite ones are from Loved By Sophia Claire) and if I see any little leggings with some sort of ruffle on the back (like the shorts seen below from Kohl’s Jumping Beans line), I immediately want to buy them. After five boys, can you blame me? Yeah, I didn’t think so!

A couple of days ago I made a stop at Kohl’s, which I haven’t done since Easter, and I immediately made a bee line to the kids department. Normally I’d be trying to find myself new shoes or something, but shopping for Olivia is way more fun! Now, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve never had a girl, or maybe I just didn’t notice before, but Kohl’s Jumping Bean line for kids is SUPER cute. They always have the amazing sales on them which perfect, because they even have bigger sizes and are perfect for back to school.

This is the time of year that I score a TON of clothes for us on the cheap because while everyone is out buying for the fall, we’re still wearing (and buying) summer clothes which, you guessed it, is on sale. Kohl’s had sales on both (you find everything I bought here ) summer and brand new fall items, so I bought a little bit of both!

I don’t always buy on sale items. I do splurge on some items, but Olivia’s still pretty tiny and only about 15-16 pounds (she’s a thin one) and nothing fits her the way it should, so I pick pieces that run smaller and are affordable so I won’t feel so bad when she grows out of it every month or so.

Her favorite doll and rattle. The doll was actually a gift that was given to me by Franklyn a couple of years ago. I love dolls and have tons of them for Olivia. The plush rattle I’m pretty sure came from Walmart.

Kohl’s Jumping Beans Tunic tank $3.99 and lace trimmed leggings $3.99!

These were both $3.99 as well! Look at those little bubble shorts , aren’t they the cutest!? I’ve always bought her the leggings with ruffles but never found them on shorts. I would have bought them in all sorts of colors but these were the only pair left. Might order some bigger sizes online! 🙂

These graphic onesies were 50% and only $6! Lots of styles to choose but these were my favorite!

Oh, and I almost forgot about the little deer mary jane shoes I bought her last week from Target’s Cat & Jack line! I saw them online and went running to find her size! Most of the stuff were sold out so I guess I was lucky to even find the shoes! SO cute and only $7.99. Most shoes are still too big on Olivia so I guess you can say it was meant to be that these cuties fit! 🙂

For those of you with little girls, where do you shop?
