I’ve been rotating between two different handbag styles lately. One is an oversized satchel that doubles as a diaper bag , then I have a small crossbody that allows me to have my hands free. Both are convenient and serve their purpose, but lately the cross body has been my go-to. I realize that it’s just temporary because once baby sis (that’s what I’ve decided to call the baby until we pick a name) arrives in April (read about it here), I’ll be back to hauling around a big baby bag again. Until then, I wanted an affordable upgrade and headed to Ross Stores Fall/Winter Style & Home Decor.

Bought all three of these cute Thanksgiving day mugs at only $2.99 each!

Ross has always been the place I go to buy some new Christmas decorations and right now, they have a ton of new items. They have a ton of household Christmas items and gifts (see below for a few of my favorites) at crazy cheap prices and a big selection of shoes and handbags. While I can shop for just about anything when I’m there, my mission was to buy myself a crossbody bag and find some new festive decorations for the house.

The fringe crossbody (look at those details) is probably my favorite! Pair it with a tee and jeans or an oversized sweater and leggings.

I find that tan bags are a great neutral bag and can be worn all year round!

A quilted red crossbody is perfect for christmas!

Any of these bags can be made into a gift by being stuffed with anything from a pair of gloves, a gift card, some makeup, to even a key chain.

Christmas Items:

My favorite part of shopping these types of stores for the holidays is that you never know what you’re going to find. There is all types of stuff! I found really pretty string lights, light up reindeers, christmas wind chimes (never seen one of those) and pretty sayings in a frame!

I’m still decorating our new place and while I want all of these items, the one that I need is the console table with gold and one of the faux fur stools for my office. Do you guys have a Ross store near you?

I’ve always been a big fan of Kristin Cavallari’s style! Her outfits are never overly trendy, or look forced and are easy to recreate on a budget. Kristin does have her own line of shoes with Chinese Laundry (click here  to see here current collection) and every single pair is super chic and not crazy expensive but they’re not exactly budget friendly either. I decided to do Kristin Cavallari’s look for less because its a great transitional outfit for fall and it’s under $80!

Take apart Kristin Cavallari’s look for less and wear the striped bodysuit with a pencil skirt, skinny jeans with a tank and blazer or the booties with a little black dress!

Olivia's First Easter Outfit from Kohls + DIY Tutu Basket

Easter has always been a favorite holiday of mine. Now that Olivia is here, it’s even more special to me because I get to shop for adorable girly Easter outfits. I actually didn’t think I’d be up for it this year because of all of the complications I had with her delivery but with a little help from my mom and dad, I managed to make it out to Kohl’s (click here to see my in store shopping pics). It’s our favorite place to shop for special occasions like Pascuas (Easter) for our entire family and now it’s also the place to shop for Olivia’s very first Easter. It was a very special day for me. I was shopping for Olivia’s first Easter outfit and Kohl’s had just about everything I needed for me, Olivia, and all of her brothers. They had everything from Easter toys, baskets, Reese’s, Peeps, toys, shoes, and an amazing selection of outfits and even Easter decor.

Kohl’s Easter selection of Easter clothing for kids was gorgeous and I had a hard time picking just one outfit for Olivia but I finally picked a colorful Spring set by Carter’s and a handsome outfit for Joseph by Osh Kosh that I know he’ll get to wear a lot more than once.

For Olivia’s basket I decided to give it a personal touch and I made her basket a tutu (see full tutorial below), then filled it with Easter toys, most of which are up to 60% off right from Kohl’s. For Joseph, we got him the stuffed dinosaur and frog with the adorable matching book It’s All Mine and for Olivia The Quiet Bunny for only $5 each for their baskets.

What You’ll Need For Basket:

We’re definitely set to celebrate my baby girls first Pascuas (Easter) in style thanks to Kohl’s! What are your some of your favorite Easter traditions?

~ Five Stylish Fall Favorites ~

Fall has finally arrived in Florida and it’s brought us some cooler air. I’m still not able to pull out a jacket or coat, but I’m already eyeing tons of fall pieces that would be perfect additions to what’s already sitting in my closet. Since I am pregnant, I picked pieces that are not maternity but can be easily worn right now with my big belly and post baby.

Oversized Scarf: Walmart has the most perfect oversized scarf for under $10!! You can throw it over your shoulders and belt it, or just loop around your neck.

Booties:

I have a few pair of booties, but they’re your basic black and brown. This year I want to give my outfits a pop of color with bright booties.

Five Stylish Fall Favorites

Vest:

Vests are great for layering, especially during pregnancy. When I throw on a tee, a pair of jeans, and vest, I instantly look more pulled together. I have an army green vest but a faux fur vest would be nice to add a glam touch to Holiday outfits.

Five Stylish Fall Favorites

Striped Long sleeve Tee:

Stripes are chic anytime of the year and make the perfect piece to layer.

Five Stylish Fall Favorites

Shirtdress:

A shirtdress is a foolproof way of looking like you put in a little extra thought without much effort. Pair them with leggings or tights, and add your new booties for a effortless look.
