This tangy-sweet chicken is covered in a delicious sauce and surprisingly low in carbs! Low-carb blackberry chicken is an easy family recipe.

What Is Blackberry Chicken
Blackberry chicken is a fruity, tangy, and aromatic chicken recipe that people won’t be able to tell is keto or low-carb.

It includes baked chicken breasts that are covered in a sweet blackberry sauce. The sauce is sweet, but also savory, thanks to the sweet thyme and bold paprika.
Are Blackberries Keto?
Yes, blackberries are a low-carb and keto-friendly fruit. In a 1/2-cup serving, there are just 3 grams net carbs. You can’t beat the sugary-sweetness and incredible flavors of blackberries.

In fact, I love blackberries so much that I added them to my keto fruit pizza and low-carb triple berry trifle.

Best Dish For Baking Chicken
What is the best way to bake chicken? Chicken breasts are known for drying out in the oven, so you have to make sure they marinate for at least an hour before you bake them. If possible, marinate them overnight.

Then, bake them in a 9×13 casserole dish. It needs to be deep enough that it can hold extra marinade in it without spilling. In order to prevent the chicken from drying out, continue to baste the chicken with the juices as it bakes.
Keto Sides
What is the best thing to eat with chicken? This chicken has a robust and bold flavor, so I suggest making milder sides that will enhance the fruity flavors in the marinade.

Asparagus and eggs is one of those sides. It has a mild flavor that allows the chicken to stand out. But if you like to eat salty and sweet things together, then make some mini pizza pepper poppers! They are big on savory flavors.
And you can never go wrong with an avocado feta salsa. It’s creamy and has familiar flavors you love. Eat it like a dip with cheese crisps or eat it with a fork!
