Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 3 cups Cabbage cut into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Low-Carb Marinara Sauce
  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Fresh Basil for garnish
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Add the oil to a skillet over medium high heat.

  2. Place the meat and onions in the skillet, and saute until the onions soften and the meat is cooked through. Drain any excess oil or fat.

  3. Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste, and saute another minute.

  4. Reduce the heat to medium low, and mix in the cabbage and marinara sauce. Stir to combine.

  5. Cover the skillet, and simmer until the cabbage has softened.

  6. Serve garnished with fresh chopped basil.
