Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 cup Carrots chopped
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 8 ounces Green Beans strung and broken into pieces
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Whippnig Cream
  • 3 sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 3 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pot over medium high heat.

  2. Add in the onions, carrots and celery. Saute until the vegetables are beginning to soften.

  3. Stir in the green beans, and saute until beginning to soften.

  4. Mix in the garlic, and saute for 30 seconds longer.

  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy whipping cream. Stir to combine.

  6. Add in the fresh thyme sprigs and salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Place the chicken into the pot, and stir to combine well.
