Mix together 1 Tbsp of the olive oil, the soy sauce, sugar free honey, rice vinegar, garlic and white pepper to taste.
Reserve ⅓ of the marinade, and marinate the salmon in the remaining marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Add the olive oil into an oven-proof skillet over medium high heat.
Place the salmon in the hot skillet flesh side down, and sear for 4 minutes.
Flip the salmon, and sear for 3 minutes on the other side.
Baste with the remaining marinade, and place into the oven with a preheated broiler on high for 1-2 minutes to glaze.
