KETO CHURRO CHAFFLE RECIPE

This keto churro chaffle recipe tastes like those sweet deep-fried treats, but with fewer carbs!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese 
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp Swerve granular
  • tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter 
  • 3 tbsp Swerve granular 
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (reduce in half if you like less)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients for chaffle in a bowl and mix until combined well.

  2. Use a mini waffle iron to make three chaffles. You do not want to overfill, put just enough batter in the waffle iron to cover the bottom as it will expand some. 

  3. When the third waffle is cooking, melt butter for the topping and combine the Swerve and cinnamon.

  4. When all three waffles are done, cover with “churro” topping and eat immediately.
