Ingredients

  • 4 cups pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar substitute
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

  2. Whisk egg white until frothy.

  3. In a large bowl, combine pecans with egg whites, vanilla and melted butter.

  4. Toss with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.

  5. Stir in brown sugar substitute.

  6. Spread pecans on a large baking sheet. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, tossing halfway.

  7. Remove and let cool. The pecans will become more crunchy as they cool.
