Keto Gingerbread Donuts

This is how to make the best keto gingerbread donuts just in time for the winter! The glaze is optional, but it is all keto-friendly!

Ingredients

Donuts

  • 1.5 cups almond flour blanched
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Sukrin Gold
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar substitute
  • 1/3 cup butter softend
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp molasses or sugar-free maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves

Maple Glaze

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup Sukrin Gold
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp Lakanto Sugar-free maple Syrup
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar subsitute

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  • 2 tbsp Erythritol
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Whisk together all dry ingredients in a large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients until smooth.

  4. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well.

  5. Pour batter into a prepared donut pan. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool before removing from the pan.

  6. For the glaze: On the stove, heat butter and Sukrin gold until melted.

  7. Stir in milk and Lakanto maple syrup. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in powdered sugar substitute.

  8. Carefully dip donuts into the glaze.

  9. Sprinkle with keto cinnamon sugar.
