This keto cheesy sausage and pepper dinner will feed your family on a budget. Everyone will love it!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cook the sausage in an ovenproof skillet over medium high heat on the stove until completely cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium, add the vegetables to the skillet and saute until just becoming tender. Remove and set aside.
Drain the grease from the skillet.
Add the beef broth to the skillet to deglaze it.
Whisk in the heavy whipping cream, tomato paste, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
Saute until the sauce thickens.
Stir in the parmesan cheese.
Add the meat and vegetables back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
