Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat on the stove.
Add in the celery and onions, and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Mix in the mushrooms and carrots, and saute another 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic, chicken, oregano and thyme. Saute for another minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and add the noodles to the saucepan.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Add in the heavy whipping cream, and simmer another 5 minutes before serving.
