Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 cup Carrots chopped
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 8 ounces Green Beans strung and broken into pieces
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Whippnig Cream
  • 3 sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 3 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a pot over medium high heat.
  • Add in the onions, carrots and celery. Saute until the vegetables are beginning to soften.
  • Stir in the green beans, and saute until beginning to soften.
  • Mix in the garlic, and saute for 30 seconds longer.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy whipping cream. Stir to combine.
  • Add in the fresh thyme sprigs and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the chicken into the pot, and stir to combine well.
