Instructions
Melt the butter in a pot over medium high heat.
Add in the onions, carrots and celery. Saute until the vegetables are beginning to soften.
Stir in the green beans, and saute until beginning to soften.
Mix in the garlic, and saute for 30 seconds longer.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy whipping cream. Stir to combine.
Add in the fresh thyme sprigs and salt and pepper to taste.
