Add the butter to a skillet over medium high heat.
Place the asparagus into the skillet, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Saute until nearly cooked to your liking and a crisp tender.
Stir in the garlic, saute 30 seconds longer.
Reduce the heat to medium, and gather the asparagus in a neat pile in the center of the skillet.
Break the eggs carefully over the asparagus.
Cook until the egg whites are cooked through, and the eggs are done to your liking.
To a skillet, add the olive oil over medium heat.
Stir in the red onion, and saute until becoming tender.
Add in the remaining dressing ingredients until warmed through.
Drizzle the dressing over the asparagus and eggs before serving.
