KETO CHURRO CHAFFLE RECIPE

This keto churro chaffle recipe tastes like those sweet deep-fried treats, but with fewer carbs!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese 
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp Swerve granular
  • tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter 
  • 3 tbsp Swerve granular 
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (reduce in half if you like less)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients for chaffle in a bowl and mix until combined well.
  • Use a mini waffle iron to make three chaffles. You do not want to overfill, put just enough batter in the waffle iron to cover the bottom as it will expand some. 
  • When the third waffle is cooking, melt butter for the topping and combine the Swerve and cinnamon.
  • When all three waffles are done, cover with “churro” topping and eat immediately.
