Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Green Beans trimmed and broke in half
  • 1 large Turnip peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil divided
  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Rosemary
  • 4 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place the turnips on a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle with half of the olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Roast for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the turnips and flip them over.
  • Add the green beans to the baking sheet, and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
  • Mix the garlic, thyme, rosemary and more salt and pepper to taste into the mixture on the sheet pan, and toss to combine.
  • Roast for another 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are done to your liking.
  • Garnish with the crumbled bacon before serving.
