Ingredients
10Bacon Slices
1/4cupBrown Sugar Substitute
2tbspSugar-Free Maple Syrup
1/2tspCracked Black Pepper
1/2tspChili Powder
1/2tspRed Pepper Flakes
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with foil, then top with a wire rack.
In a small bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Set aside.
Twist each strip of bacon and place on the wire rack. To make sure they don't un-twist while cooking, you can either press the ends into the wire rack or use toothpicks to hold the ends down.
Drizzle the maple syrup over each bacon twist.
Top with approximately ⅔ of the sugar mixture. *I like to sprinkle the rest over top, half way through cooking time.
Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes.
Carefully remove and let cool. The twists will become more crispy as they cool.
