Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/3 cup Coconut Flour
  • 1 tsp Xanthan Gum
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sweetener
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Oil for frying

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar Substitute
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a pot, begin to heat water, butter and sugar.

  2. Bring it to a boil. Turn off heat and stir in the gluten free flour and salt.

  3. Place the dough in a bowl and mix together with egg.

  4. Move the churro dough into a churro maker.

  5. In a large skillet, heat oil.

  6. Pipe the churro dough into the hot skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes then turn for another 1-2 minutes.

  7. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel to drain extra oil.

  8. Roll the churros in the cinnamon sugar blend.

  9. ENJOY!
