Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup blanched almond flour
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp  garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp  salt
  • Nonstick oil

Toppings Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp  Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp  finely grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Grease baking dish with butter or nonstick oil
  • In large bowl combine almond flour, garlic, Italian seasoning, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
  • Add shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese to bowl. 
  • Microwave for about 40-45 seconds or until the cheese has melted.
  • Stir mixture until it forms a dough.
  • Stir in egg until well mixed.
  • Take dough and cut into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a log and form into a knot like shape,
  • Place garlic knows 1 inch apart on baking sheets.
  • In a bowl add butter and melt. Add in garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  • Brush garlic knows with garlic butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. 
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
