1poundGround Beef
1/2cupCelery chopped
1/2Red Bell Pepper Chopped
1/2Green Bell Pepper Chopped
2tspMinced Garlic
1cupDiced Tomatoes undrained
3cupsCabbage cut into thin noodle-like pieces
3cupsBeef Broth
1tspThyme
Instructions
Add the ground beef, onions, bell peppers and celery to a pot over medium high heat. Saute until the beef is browned and the vegetables have softened.
Drain the excess grease.
Reduce the heat to medium, and stir in the thyme and garlic. Saute for 30 seconds.
Pour in the broth and diced tomatoes. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil, add in the cabbage, cover and reduce heat to medium low to simmer until the cabbage is tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
