Ingredients

  • 1 pound Natural Ground Italian Sausage
  • 1/3 cup Onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup Celery chopped
  • 1/3 cup Carrots chopped
  • 2 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Sage
  • 1 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 head Cauliflower cut into florets

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 400 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the cauliflower florets onto the baking sheet, and drizzle with the olive oil.
  • Season the cauliflower with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cauliflower is a crisp tender.
  • Add the sausage, onions, celery and carrots to a skillet over medium high heat. Saute until the meat is completely browned, and the vegetables have softened.
  • Drain any excess grease.
  • Stir in the garlic and saute for 30 seconds longer.
  • Stir together the florets, sausage mixture, butter, sage and poultry seasoning in a mixing bowl.
  • Layer the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish, and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
