Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 5 Thin Cut Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 3 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • Juice from 1/2 a Lemon
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add the chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne and salt and pepper to taste to a bowl, and stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle ¾ of the seasoning over the chicken to coat it well.
  • Sear the chicken evenly on both sides in the skillet until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Melt the butter in the skillet over medium heat, and toss in the onions. Saute until the onions have softened.
  • Mix in the garlic and lemon juice, and saute for 1 minute.
  • Stir in the heavy whipping cream, and remaining seasoning. Simmer until the sauce has thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Garnish with lemon wedges and green onions before serving.
