Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 large Turnip peeled, cut in half and then thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Onion Chopped
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups Colby Jack Cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions chopped

Instructions

  • Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and saute until the meat is browned.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, and mix in the onions, turnip, garlic and worcestershire sauce.
  • Cover and simmer until the turnips are tender.
  • Drain any excess grease if necessary.
  • Sprinkle on the cheese, and cover to simmer until the cheese has melted.
  • Garnish with green onions before serving.
