Green beans can be filling when you make them with a creamy sauce. These keto cream cheese green beans are topped with bacon and pork rinds.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce Sliced Mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 pound Green Beans trimmed and snapped into pieces
  • 1/3 cup Chopped Bacon
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/3 cup Pork Rind Crumbs

Instructions

  • Steam the green beans until a crisp tender, and place into a well greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Add the butter to a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir in the mushrooms, and saute until becoming tender.
  • Mix in the garlic, and cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese has melted.
  • Pour in the heavy whipping cream, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, as well as the bacon.
  • Pour the sauce over the green beans, and stir to combine.
  • In a bowl, mix together the pork rind crumbs and the parmesan cheese.
  • Sprinkle the mixture over the green beans.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
