Melt 3 tbsp of butter in a pot over medium heat.
Stir in the sliced onions, and saute until becoming tender.
Reduce the heat to low, and saute the onions until caramelized.
Remove and set aside.
Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium high heat, and saute until browned. Drain the excess grease.
Stir in the white cooking wine and mushrooms, and saute until the liquid is mostly evaporated and the mushrooms are tender.
Mix in the thyme, worcestershire sauce, caramelized onions and palmini noodles. Saute for 5 minutes.
Pour in the heavy whipping cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
Stir in the parmesan cheese and serve garnished with fresh thyme.
