Fans of French onion soup, this one’s for you! This keto TikTok French onion pasta is so bold that you’ll savor every bite.
French Onion Pasta
French onion soup has such an iconic flavor that I love making recipes inspired by it. While you can never go wrong with a classic keto French onion soup, there are so many other things that you can make that have that same bold, caramelized onion flavor.
I’ve made keto French onion egg salad and keto French onion chicken casserole. But when I made this pasta, the flavor and combination of pasta with the onions was irresistible.
It’s a dish you make when you’re craving something indulgent but don’t want to go over your carbs for the day.
Keto French Onion Pasta
This recipe makes four healthy servings and each serving has just five grams net carbs. When you’re feeling really tempted to go off your keto plan just for one meal, make this!
It tastes like you’re cheating, but you aren’t! The secret is the Palmini linguine noodles. They taste just like regular pasta, but are so high in fiber that they’re really low in carbs.
Plus, since they’re canned, you don’t have to boil or cook them first. So they help speed up the entire recipe, too.
TikTok French Onion Pasta
This is a meal that you’ll want to eat slowly and savor every bite. The pasta, ground beef, and the incredible white wine sauce – it all works together in the best way.
Don’t skip on the fresh thyme. Make sure it’s fresh. The fresh herb has a sweet aroma that infuses into the sauce.
I used ground beef because it adds to the rich flavor in the recipe but you can make this with ground chicken, turkey, or pork. And if you have some leftover steak, then cut it into thin strips and use it instead of ground beef.
What To Eat With Pasta
Serve your favorite side dishes with this beefy pasta. Start out with a copycat Cheesecake Factory Salad. Then, add some vegetables to the table. Keto roasted garlic turnips and green beans will taste perfect with the onion pasta.
Or, balance the savory flavors in the pasta with something sweet. You might like a bowl of low-carb strawberry broccoli salad or creamy keto carrot and radishes salad.
How To Store Cooked Pasta
This pasta skillet recipe tastes delicious in your meal prep this week. Place leftover French Onion pasta in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
It’s easy to reheat. Just place it on a microwave-safe plate and heat it in the microwave for about a minute or two. If you want to enhance the flavor a bit, sprinkle more cheese on top.
