Keto Five Guys Cheeseburger Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Onion diced
  • 4 slices American Cheese
  • 2 Keto-Friendly Hamburger Buns
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add in the onions, and saute until softened. Set aside.
  • Place the ground beef in a mixing bowl with the onion powder, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste and knead until well combined.
  • Separate the meat mixture into four evenly sized patties.
  • Place the patties into a skillet over medium high heat, and cook until done to your liking. Remove and set aside.
  • Place a hamburger bun topside down into a skillet over medium heat.
  • Top with the burger patty, slice of cheese, another burger patty and a final slice of cheese.
  • Add some of the sauteed onions on top, and then place the upside down bottom of the bun on top of the sandwich.
  • Saute until the bottom bun is flattened and browned, and then flip until the cheese is melted and bun is evenly toasted on both sides.
