1/2Onion diced
4slicesAmerican Cheese
2Keto-Friendly Hamburger Buns
1tspOnion Powder
1tspGarlic Powder
2tspWorcestershire Sauce
Instructions
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add in the onions, and saute until softened. Set aside.
Place the ground beef in a mixing bowl with the onion powder, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste and knead until well combined.
Separate the meat mixture into four evenly sized patties.
Place the patties into a skillet over medium high heat, and cook until done to your liking. Remove and set aside.
Place a hamburger bun topside down into a skillet over medium heat.
Top with the burger patty, slice of cheese, another burger patty and a final slice of cheese.
Add some of the sauteed onions on top, and then place the upside down bottom of the bun on top of the sandwich.
Saute until the bottom bun is flattened and browned, and then flip until the cheese is melted and bun is evenly toasted on both sides.
