2Ribeye Steaksone-inch thick
Salt and pepperto taste

Instructions
Season the ribeye steaks liberally on both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat.
Once the oil is heated, add the steaks, and sear them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they get a nice sear on them.
Reduce the heat to medium, and place the butter into the skillet.
When the butter has melted, add the garlic and herbs to the skillet.
Spoon the butter up over the steaks, and brush them with the herbs.
Continue to cook the steaks until done to your liking. Remove them just a bit before they get to your desired temperature, as they will continue to cook a bit when you allow them to rest.
Remove the steaks from the skillet, and allow them to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
