Ingredients

  • 4 Bone-In Pork Chops
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 2 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Mustard Powder
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides, and add to the heated skillet. Sear the pork chops well on both sides and remove.
  • Reduce the heat in the skillet to medium, and add the butter and garlic. Saute for 30 seconds.
  • Whisk in the heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, dried parsley flakes, Italian seasoning, mustard powder and more salt and pepper to taste if desired.
  • Continue to cook the sauce until it begins to thicken.
  • Stir in the parmesan cheese, and add the meat back to the skillet.
  • Cover and saute until the pork chops are cooked through.
  • Spoon the sauce over the pork chops and serve.
