Ingredients

  • 1 pound Large Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Jerk Seasoning
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 4 cups Chopped Cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/3 cup Bacon Pieces

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the shrimp with 1 tsp of the Jerk seasoning, and add to the heated skillet. Saute the shrimp until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, and mix in the onions and red bell pepper. Saute until the vegetables have softened.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and stir in the cabbage.
  • Cover and simmer until the cabbage begins to soften.
  • Stir in the garlic, onion powder, garlic powder and remaining Jerk seasoning. Cover and continue to saute until the cabbage is done to your liking.
  • Return the shrimp to the skillet, and stir in the bacon before serving.
