1poundLarge Shrimp peeled and deveined
2tbspOlive Oil
1tbspJerk Seasoning
1/2Onion chopped
1Red Bell Pepperchopped
2tspMinced Garlic
4cupsChopped Cabbage
1/2cupChicken Broth
1tspGarlic Powder
1tspOnion Powder
1/3cupBacon Pieces
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Season the shrimp with 1 tsp of the Jerk seasoning, and add to the heated skillet. Saute the shrimp until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium, and mix in the onions and red bell pepper. Saute until the vegetables have softened.
Pour in the chicken broth and stir in the cabbage.
Cover and simmer until the cabbage begins to soften.
Stir in the garlic, onion powder, garlic powder and remaining Jerk seasoning. Cover and continue to saute until the cabbage is done to your liking.
Return the shrimp to the skillet, and stir in the bacon before serving.
