Ingredients

  • 5 Italian Sausage Links
  • 1 cup Low-Carb Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Pour half of the sauce into the bottom of an oven-proof skillet.
  • Slice the sausages lengthwise down the center, being sure not to slice the sausages all of the way through.
  • Fold the sausages open like hot dog buns, and place into the skillet over the sauce.
  • In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread the cheese mixture inside of the sausages.
  • Layer the remaining sauce over the top of the cheese mixture.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
