Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 12 ounces Sliced Natural Smoked Sausage
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 2 cups Whole Broccoli Florets
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sugar-Free Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp Ginger Paste

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the chicken with the garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Saute until the chicken is almost completely cooked through.
  • Stir in the sausage, and saute until browned and the chicken is completely cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • Add the onions and peppers to the skillet, and reduce the heat to medium. Saute until they are softened.
  • Mix in the broccoli and water. Cover and simmer until the broccoli is done to your liking.
  • Whisk together the soy sauce, garlic, ginger paste and maple syrup in a bowl.
  • Return the chicken and sausage to the skillet, and pour the sauce over the top. Stir to combine, and simmer for 5 minutes before serving.
