Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Thighs Bone In and Skin On
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  • Season the chicken with the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Sear the chicken skin side down for 1-2 minutes in the heated skillet, and then flip to the other side. Sear for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Once the skin is crispy and has a good sear, reduce the heat to medium, and cover. Saute until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove the cover, and add the butter to the skillet.
  • Once melted, spoon the butter over the chicken for a minute or two.
