Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter divided
  • 1/3 Onion sliced thinly
  • 1/2 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 slices Keto Sandwich Bread

Instructions

  • Add 1 tbsp of the butter to a skillet over medium heat on the stove.
  • Place the onions into the skillet, and saute until caramelized. Remove and set aside.
  • Combine the ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste in a mixing bowl, and knead to combine well.
  • Form the meat mixture into four evenly sized patties, and flatten them in the palm of your hands.
  • Add the patties to a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Saute and flatten the patties while cooking until done to your liking.
  • Butter one side of two of the slices of bread.
  • Place the bread buttered side down into a skillet over medium low heat.
  • Add a beef patty to the top of each of the slices of bread.
  • Put a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty, then follow with a second beef patty and a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Top each patty melt with the caramelized onions, and another piece of buttered bread, with the butter on the outside.
  • Flip the patty melt over and toast the other side of the bread before serviing.
