1 1/2poundsGround Turkey
1/2Onion diced
1/2Red Bell Pepper chopped
1can Diced Tomatoes
1tbspTomato Paste
1/2cupPumpkin Puree
3cupsChicken Broth
2tspMinced Garlic
3tspChili Powder
1tspCumin
1tspPaprika
1pinchCinnamon and Nutmeg
Instructions
Add the ground turkey, onion and green bell pepper to a pot over medium high heat. Saute until the vegetables are softened and the meat is completely cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
Reduce the heat to medium, and stir in the garlic, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
Mix in the pumpkin puree and diced tomatoes.
Pour in the broth, and simmer for 15-20 minutes before serving.
