Keto Skillet Honey Garlic Sausage and Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 ounces Natural Smoked Sausage sliced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 medium Carrot peeled and sliced
  • 3 cups Cabbage chopped
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Sugar-Free Honey
  • 2 tbsp Chicken Broth

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the chicken with onion powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sear the chicken in the skillet until cooked completely through.
  • Add in the sliced sausage, and saute for another 2 minutes. Remove the meat and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, and melt the butter in the skillet.
  • Saute the onion, carrots and red bell peppers until softened.
  • Mix in the garlic and thyme, and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the cabbage and chicken broth. Cover, and saute the cabbage until softened.
  • Add the meat back to the skillet and stir to combine.
  • Drizzle the contents with the skillet with the honey, stir and simmer for 2 more minutes before serving.
