Keto Slow Cooker Kalua Pork and Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Pork Shoulder Roast
  • 4 cups Chopped Cabbage
  • Pink Himalayan Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp Liquid Smoke
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  • Place the pork into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Whisk together the soy sauce, salt, pepper, ground ginger, liquid smoke and water in a mixing bowl.
  • Pour the mixture over the pork, cover and cook on high for 6 hours.
  • When the pork is close to being done, add some of the liquid from the slow cooker to a skillet over medium heat.
  • Place the cabbage into the skillet, cover and saute until softened.
  • Remove the pork from the slow cooker, and shred it with two forks.
  • Return the pork to the slow cooker along with the cabbage, and stir to combine well before serving.
