1 1/2pounds Fresh Green Beans trimmed
4slices Smoked Bacon chopped
1smallOnion diced
2cloves Garlic minced
1cupChicken or Vegetable Broth
1tspSalt adjust to taste
1/2tspBlack Pepper
1/2tspRed Pepper Flakes optional
Instructions
Wash and trim the green beans. Chop the bacon and dice the onion.
Add the green beans, bacon, onion, and garlic to the crockpot. Pour the broth over the top and stir in the salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the green beans are tender.
Stir well before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
