This is the easiest way to cook green beans for a crowd. Low-Carb Crock Pot green beans are lightly flavored with garlic and onions.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Fresh Green Beans trimmed
  • 4 slices Smoked Bacon chopped
  • 1 small Onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional

Instructions

  • Wash and trim the green beans. Chop the bacon and dice the onion.
  • Add the green beans, bacon, onion, and garlic to the crockpot. Pour the broth over the top and stir in the salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the green beans are tender.
  • Stir well before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
