1poundLarge Shrimp peeled and deveined with the tails removed
14ouncesNatural Smoked Sausage sliced
2tbspOlive Oil
2tbspButter
1/2Onion chopped
3tspMinced Garlic
1tspItalian Seasoning
10ounces Fresh Green Beans trimmed
1/4cupChicken Broth
Salt and Pepper to taste
Red Pepper Flakes to taste
1/3cupSugar-Free Honey
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the shrimp and sausage into the skillet, and sear until the shrimp is completely cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium, and melt the butter in the skillet.
Mix in the onions, and saute until softened.
Add in the garlic and Italian seasoning, and saute for 30 seconds longer.
Pour in the chicken broth and mix in the green beans.
Cover and simmer until the beans are done to your liking.
Toss in the shrimp and sausage.
Drizzle with the honey, and stir to combine well.
Garnish with red pepper flakes to taste before serving.
