Ingredients

  • 1 pound Large Shrimp peeled and deveined with the tails removed
  • 14 ounces Natural Smoked Sausage sliced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 10 ounces Fresh Green Beans trimmed
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Red Pepper Flakes to taste
  • 1/3 cup Sugar-Free Honey

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the shrimp and sausage into the skillet, and sear until the shrimp is completely cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, and melt the butter in the skillet.
  • Mix in the onions, and saute until softened.
  • Add in the garlic and Italian seasoning, and saute for 30 seconds longer.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and mix in the green beans.
  • Cover and simmer until the beans are done to your liking.
  • Toss in the shrimp and sausage.
  • Drizzle with the honey, and stir to combine well.
  • Garnish with red pepper flakes to taste before serving.
