Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 1 large Turnip peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Rosemary
  • 3 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 1/2 cups Frozen Peas and Carrots
  • 1/3 cup Heavy Whipping Cream

Instructions

  • Add the ground beef, onion and turnips to a pot on medium high heat, and saute until the meat is completely browned. Drain any excess grease.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, and stir in the tomato paste, garlic, thyme, rosemary and salt and pepper to taste. Saute for 1 minute.
  • Pour in the beef broth, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add in the frozen peas and carrots and heavy whipping cream. Simmer until the vegetables are cooked through, and the soup has thickened a bit.
