~ Satisfying My Sweet Tooth With Fiber One Snack Bars ~
I have a major sweet tooth and it kicked into overdrive when I was pregnant with Joseph!
I wanted just about anything that had sugar on it. Normally, I would just buy myself sugar-free snacks, but I knew that it wouldn’t be good for me or for the baby. I tried to find tons of different ways to try and satisfy my sweet tooth. For the most part, I was successful in resisting the urge to eat sweets.
However, at times when I just had to cave in, I found a friend in Fiber One bars. My mom has a been a huge fan of Fiber One for years and starts her day with the Fiber One Oats & Peanut Butter bars to help keep her regular.
I never even thought of giving them a try until I saw all the yummy indulgent-looking Fiber One bars at Walmart. I went through tons of boxes of their Oats & Chocolate Bars and sometimes even their Protein Cookie & Cream Bars during my pregnancy because it satisfied my sweet toot. Also not to sound gross, but they helped prevent pregnancy constipation, which was something else that I battled throughout the entire pregnancy. It was not fun!
Despite eating a ton of vegetables and drinking a ton of water, it wasn’t enough. I would still find myself miserable and uncomfortable. I cannot even begin to describe to you how much better I felt once I added a few Fiber One products into my diet. Since it had such a tremendous affect on my digestive health, I figured I would kill two birds with one stone and try out their other tasty products.
I tried their Fiber One soft chew chocolate chunk cookies. These became an instant hit with everyone in my house. Fiber is a must in anyone’s diet and this was a perfect way to add 20 percent of the daily value per serving with only 4.5 grams of fat. It eliminated my sweet tooth guilt, kept me regular, and because of the fiber, it kept me satisfied longer. Now that to me is a win-win!
Fast forward to one year after I had Joseph and I still continue to buy the same Fiber One items I ate during my pregnancy. It keeps me fueled for my long busy days with work and five boys. Fiber One can be found in most grocery stores cookie and cereal aisles.
Check out their website where you’ll find all of their products and tons of yummy recipes!

I’ve ate those bars before and the little brownies but I’ve never tried the cookies. I think I’m going to sneak a few of the cookie ones in the cart next time I go. Love that they look soft and not hard.
