Cole Slaw Recipe Chick-Fil-A
One of the best ways to avoid the drive-through is to make it yourself at home. Some recipes are tough to recreate, but this coleslaw is really simple!
All you have to do is replace the sugar with a keto-friendly sweetener, and you have a perfect duplicate! Thankfully, the coleslaw at Chick-fil-A is pretty simple.
The ground mustard powder and white vinegar is what gives it the iconic tang that it’s known for. This recipe takes literally 10 minutes at the most, so it’s a quick, easy, and super tasty recipe!
Copycat Chick-Fil-A
When you’re on the keto diet, it’s so important to stay away from most fast foods and make your favorite recipes at home. The Chick-Fil-A salad with grilled nuggets is one of the only things you can eat there. (And I suggest using homemade dressing).
That’s why I’m trying to recreate my favorite Chick-Fil-A recipes. There are so many things I enjoy there, and if I’m going to stick to my plan, I need to avoid sugar and breading.
This coleslaw will taste amazing with a jar of keto sweet tea and a big bowl of Copycat Keto Chick-Fil-A Cobb Salad. And if you aren’t in the mood for more lettuce, make a tasty Keto Chick-Fil-A Copycat Chicken Salad instead.
Keto Cole Slaw
One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it’s made with pre-made ingredients. While you can certainly choose to shred the cabbage and carrots yourself, you don’t have to.
Just grab some shredded cabbage and matchstick carrots. That’s it!
If you want to add a little garnish to the slaw, then chop up a green onion and sprinkle it on top. And if you want it to taste even tangier, use apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar.
What To Eat With Coleslaw
You can eat anything that you like with the coleslaw. If you want to enjoy a really quick lunch, then make some air fryer nuggets with the slaw.
Coleslaw is also a classic side dish to serve at BBQs, so add it as a side dish with keto Yakiyori skewers or some juicy low-carb steak fajita skewers.
This tangy-sweet slaw also tastes perfect with burgers! So serve it with either keto Big Mac smash burgers or some keto air fryer cheeseburgers.
How to Store Coleslaw
You can save yourself a lot of time by remixing the dressing ahead of time. Store the dressing in a spillproof and airtight food storage container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Then, all you have to do is mix all the ingredients together and it’s ready to eat! I don’t recommend storing the slaw with the dressing on it. If you do, eat it within a day or two so that it won’t soften.
Do not freeze the slaw either. It will change the texture and – trust me – it won’t be as appetizing. It tastes so much better when you serve it fresh.
