Keto Pizza
If you want to skip my tips, just scroll down to the recipe in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post. First, I’m going to share an overview of it along with ways that you can customize it and how to store it (or make it ahead of time). I’m basically going to try and answer as many questions about this recipe as I can. If you have a question that wasn’t answered here, please let it in the comments, I’m happy to help.
This recipe makes a scrumptious low-carb pizza that even picky kids are going to love. No one can tell that it’s made with a cauliflower crust and sugar-free pizza sauce.
What’s In Pepperoni Keto Pizza
Here’s what I used in my pizza, along with any ingredient additions or substitutions you can make too.
- Cauliflower
- Eggs
- Mozzarella Cheese (shredded) – customize this pizza and use any combination of different cheeses on top
- Salt & Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Crushed Pork Rinds
- Sugar-Free Pizza Sauce
- Pepperoni Slices
- Italian Seasoning
You can also add some sausage, mushrooms, or ricotta cheese on top.
How To Make Cauliflower Crust Without A Food Processor
If you don’t have one, I recommend buying a food processor, especially if you are going to do a lot of keto baking. You can chop up the cauliflower without one, it’s just not as simple.
You can use a kitchen grater to shred the cauliflower too. A knife won’t work as well because it makes a terrible mess and it’s tough to get the cauliflower to shred enough.
Of course, you can skip the pain of trying to make a cauliflower crust and just make a chicken crust instead. I have a really easy chicken crust recipe that I use in lots of other recipes, and it would taste perfect in this one.
How To Serve This Festive Pizza
This is perfect for snacking, as a festive and light lunch, or at a Christmas party. They are the perfect size to serve as little appetizers – and the best part is that they don’t take much time to arrange.
This is one of my favorite holiday keto appetizers to share. They liven up the appetizer table!
Mini Christmas Tree Pizzas
These are really easy to make-ahead. Just store them in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them. The best way to reheat them is in the oven at 325 F for about 10 minutes.
You don’t have to make them in the shape of Christmas trees. Use your favorite holiday cookie cutters and make different festive shapes – like candy canes, ornaments, even little gingerbread-shaped pizzas.
