Best Keto Stuffed Mushrooms
These bacon and spinach stuffed mushrooms taste the best when they are fresh out of the oven. They come out steaming hot, melted cheese bubbling from inside the mushrooms. The best thing about these mushrooms is that they are made with fresh ingredients. While you can certainly use thawed frozen spinach in a pinch, they taste a lot better when you use raw spinach leaves.
If you don’t have parmesan cheese, you can use mozzarella cheese instead.
Easy Keto Appetizers
Serve these keto bacon stuffed mushrooms at your next dinner party. They are already the perfect size for snacking before the big meal. In fact, there is something about these mushrooms everyone will love! Almost everyone enjoys crispy bacon and melted cheese.
Stuffed Mushrooms Ideas
Have fun with this recipe. Be creative and use a variety of different fillings or toppings. If you want them to be a little spicier, mix in some red pepper flakes and cayenne pepper.
Garnish them with fresh parsley, the green will really pop and dress up the mushrooms. You can also add a few pieces of red diced tomatoes on top of the mushrooms. This will make them look extra festive.
Low Carb Mushrooms Stuffed With Spinach
These mushrooms are the perfect size to munch on when you need a low-carb snack. Store them in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for up to 3 days. After 3 days, the texture will change and they won’t be as delicious.
You can also serve them with a salad for a light lunch or dinner. Since they are filled with cheese, they are a hearty side dish. All you need to make it a complete meal is a protein like some chicken breast or a pork chop.
How To Prep Ahead & Store
Since it only takes 15 minutes for these mushrooms to bake, the best way to prep and make them ahead of time is to cut out the mushrooms and pre-make the filling. Then, when you are ready to cook them, just fill the mushrooms and bake them.
You can store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. After about 3 days the filling won’t be the same texture and won’t taste as good.
