Prioritizing My Health With Nature Made® Probiotics

One of the things that I enjoy the most about our local Walmart Super Center is the convenience of being able to buy anything I need. Sure, there’s a ton of other stores around me, but why make two stops when I can make one and get everything done quicker? I try to make a Walmart run once a week, but with a family as large as mine, there’s always something that pops up and I end up at Walmart, because it jusy so happens to be open 24 hours and two minutes away. Yeah, it’s that convenient and easy for me. I head out at any time and get what anything I need!

One of the sections we frequent quite often is the vitamin and supplement aisle. You know what they say: you can’t properly care for others if you don’t take of yourself first! I’m a firm believer in that and I try to really take of myself so that I can always function at my best! Just recently, I learned of Nature Made®Probiotic and only heard good things, so I decided to try out for myself. Nature Made® Advanced Dual Action Probiotic has been clinically studied and provides dual support to both your small and large intestines for comprehensive coverage to help support digestive balance and healthy gut flora.

Fall is FINALLY here and I’ve been out doing a little shopping and I was pleasantly surprised at the fall style at Walmart! Check out some favorites below.

Fall Style at Walmart

As I was out shopping for some Halloween crafting supplies at Walmart, I wandered off and took a peek at their fall clothing and accessory section. I was actually really surprised! Walmart has so many cozy sweaters and Oversized Plaid Scarf (all under $10), I even found a really cute belted shirt dress (click here to see a similar one online) that would be perfect with a pair of boots! There’s a ton of fall style at Walmart that are reasonably priced!

Lots of these items even make great gifts! Check out the scarf/hood with the faux fur trim, so cute and perfect to gift! The sweater cape below  is a super easy way to look effortlessly stylish (click here to see an even cuter one for less than $11)! You can pull on some leggings, the cape, a pair of booties and you’re good to! Lots of good stuff, these are  just a few of my favorites. **Links to items that I found online are throughout post.

Although, the one item that popped out for me was these massive statement necklaces.

I remember scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago and noticed blogger Julian Sarinana, aka Sincerely Jules (see her own clothing collection that I LOVE here), wearing something very similar. It’s perfect to wear them stacked up like she did or you can wear it alone and over a chunky sweater.

These price points are perfect to add trendy pieces to your fall wardrobe without breaking the bank! You can add the faux fur hoodie/scarf to a classic white tee, use either of those denim jackets over a black turtleneck (another fall classic) and black jeans for a quick and stylish look. You can wear it to lunch or the bus stop! I always mix and match price points, it’s a smart way to shop for anyone who loves fashion.

~ My 10 Purse Essentials ~

10 Purse Essentials #BeHealthyForEveryPartofLife

When I tell people I have five boys they always say the same thing to me: “I don’t know how you do it”. To be honest, there’s days where I ask myself the same question. All of the days where I feel like I’ve got it all together is because I’m always prepared. I have one son who started a new job, a teen who started driving, one that just became a teen, a tween starting middle school, AND a 19 month old who’s teething. Things can get pretty scary if I don’t have my purse essentials that I buy at the pharmacy section at Walmart for everyone!

I’ve never been one to use a baby bag. Instead, I use whatever is my favorite bag at the moment to keep things readily available. I don’t just dump everything in one bag, I keep a smaller pouch with my necessities in case I want to quickly swap out bags. It’s a convienenient, organized way to keep anyones bag, not just a mom. My families needs are constantly changing and below are my essentials that I’m currently carrying when I’m out and about.

10 Purse Essentials #BeHealthyForEveryPartofLife
1. Flu season is upon us and I keep my guys who work outside healthy with Emergen-C Immune+ Chewables. I carry these around in my bag to keep their immune system up so that they can have healthier days and nights. I plan on carrying these around to keep myself healthy and prevent any unwanted illnesses around the new baby.

2. Infant’s Advil : My little guy is 19 months old and he’s still teething pretty bad. Infant Advil provides up to eight hours of fever and pain relief with only one dose. If Joseph had a rough night and I know I’ve got a busy day ahead, I make sure to keep this handy in case he gets fussy and things get out of hand.

3. For those days where we’re out and about with everyone in town I keep an Advil Tablet Vial. Nothing works on more pains than Advil (among OTC pain relievers). While I don’t take it now because I’m pregnant, I keep them in my purse for Franklyn and his chronic headaches.

4. There’s seven of us in our house and if someone hasn’t just caught a cold, we’re either getting over it or giving it to someone else. Someone always needs a tissue because mama doesnt like it when she catches someone wiping there nose on their sleeves.

5. Bandaids for when anyone gets hurt, which is almost all the time.

6. Hand sanitizer, because I’m a germaphobe.

7. A pen, see above.

8. A perfume roller for those days where I forget to spritz on the way out.

9. Hair ties in case the humidity takes control of my hair

10. Joseph is now at an age where I can get away with running out the door with just a diaper and wipes, which fits perfectly in my bag.

Wondering where my phone and charger are? Well, I rarely ever keep it in my purse because it tends to become a dumping ground for everyone. To keep my bag somewhat under control, I empty it once a week, toss the garbage, and start fresh.

What are your purse essentials?

Easy Chicken Empanadas

Growing up I loved eating my moms chicken empanadas but because they were time consuming to make she would only make them during the holidays or on an occasional weekend. My mom would take a whole chicken, season it and bake it  for an hour, sometimes even more depending on how many she’d be making. Up until a few months ago it was also how I made them but when I saw the Marketside Rotisserie Chicken at Walmart  I immediatley knew that I could use it for the empanadas and eliminate the lengthier process of cooking a chicken and when I added the side of potato salad and a 2 liter Coca-Cola, I had a complete meal!
