Happy Fall! This is my favorite time of the year, and I always get motivated to make fun crafts like the paper towel roll flowers seen below. It’s a great way to upcycle household items and they can easily be customized for any seasonal holiday! Scroll down to see how these DIY paper towel roll flowers are made.

We’re finally settling in after a few crazy weeks of unpacking for the second time in three months. It wasn’t easy but, it was so worth it because we’re back in an area that we’ve grown to love. Now if only the cool weather would hurry up and get here!

The first thing we did when we moved in was stock up on our favorite household necessities like Scott® Paper Towels 6 CT Mega Roll that provide a great value and performance. Scott’s absorbent paper towels feature unique ridges that quickly soak up messes (a must have for a mom of seven like me), leaving surfaces clean and dry!

My kitchen and crafting area is always in use, and it’s great to have Scott paper towels that we buy at Family Dollar on hand to quickly and effectively soak up messes all around the house!

Now that we’re done with the move, I can focus on some fun DIY home crafts! I’ve been looking for ways to use the paper towel rolls I saved and I decided to make these paper towel roll flowers. I’ve seen them done a few different ways before, but I framed mine to give them a more polished look.

What you’ll need:

Paper towel roll
Scissors
Stapler
Spray paint
Thumbtack or furniture tacks

Instructions for flowers:

Cut your paper towel roll into six strips.

Staple (or glue) the inner corners of the six strips together.

Spray paint the flowers.

Frame:

Remove glass.

Cover back of the frame with fabric or stock paper.

Pin flower onto the frame and hang!

Pin for later!
