There’s a reason this cabbage alfredo recipe went viral on TikTok – it’s swimming in the richest, most incredible cheese sauce imaginable! And it’s ready in just 30 minutes.
Cabbage Alfredo
This is the perfect dinner idea for anyone that loves a good cheese sauce. It takes a familiar recipe – fettuccini alfredo – and adds a bit of spice and some powerfully flavored sausage to the mix. Now you have a dinner you’ll look forward to!
There are a bunch of ways that you can change this recipe, too. If you’re not exactly a fan of cabbage, use some Palmini noodles instead.
Keep reading and I’ll share some of my favorite tips for this easy family dinner.
Cajun Alfredo
Cajun recipes are some of my family’s favorites! You just can’t beat the burst of flavors that hit your mouth. There are so many different things you can make with Cajun seasoning.
Creamy Cajun cod is one of my go-to recipes, but this spicy seasoning also tastes great on pork ribs and air fryer chicken strips. All three of these recipes are keto-friendly, which proves you don’t have to sacrifice flavor to lose weight.
Keto Alfredo Sauce
Classic alfredo sauce only consists of a few ingredients – butter, heavy whipping cream, and parmesan cheese. From that simple base you can change it up.
I’ve made a classic garlic alfredo sauce before and loved it! But there is something amazing that happens when you add some Cajun seasoning and Andouille sausage. You’ll enjoy every single bite!
In fact, you can change this recipe up and use the Cajun-flavored alfredo sauce as a cheese dip for keto chicken nuggets. Or replace the sausage with some shredded chicken and eat a Cajun chicken alfredo meal.
Sausage Cabbage Alfredo
There are 6 grams net carbs in each serving of cabbage and sausage alfredo. It’s the perfect dinner because it’s so filling – and you still have some carbs left over to use on your sides.
This is a delicious dish to add to your meal prep, too. Store the cabbage alfredo in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Keep in mind that the alfredo sauce might solidify a bit in the fridge. All you have to do is heat it up and it will melt beautifully again.
What To Serve With Alfredo
Since this Cajun alfredo skillet is a complete meal in one dish, you don’t have to add very many sides to it. Definitely make some keto garlic knots. You’ll enjoy dipping them into the alfredo sauce.
Start out the meal with a zesty bowl of copycat Olive Garden salad. It’s a low-carb and healthy salad that everyone loves.
If you want to add more veggies to the table, make bacon wrapped asparagus on the side too. Everything is better with bacon!
