These keto strawberry cheesecake popsicles are a refreshing and fun way to use garden strawberries. They are easy to make and kids love them!
Are Strawberries Keto
Even though strawberries taste really sweet, they are a keto-friendly type of fruit. In fact, they have the fewest carbs out of all the types of berries.
For each 100g (1/2 cup) of strawberries, there are 5.68g net carbs. This recipe makes 10 popsicles and uses one cup of strawberries in it, so it is a very keto-friendly dessert.
How To Make Low Carb Popsicles
There are three different ways to make keto-friendly popsicles. The first step is always the same – puree and make the strawberry cream cheese mixture. After that, you can freeze the popsicles with three different methods.
The first idea is to use Dixie cups. This is how I made my popsicles. I poured the strawberry mixture into the bottom of the cups first and then added white cheesecake batter on top. Then, I placed the popsicle sticks into the mixture and put the cups in the freezer for about 4 hours.
If you want to make smaller freezer pops, use an ice cube tray. Just place the strawberry puree on the bottom of the tray and top with the cheesecake batter. Add the popsicle sticks and freeze them.
Finally, using a freezer pop mold is a reliable and fun way to make strawberry popsicles in fun shapes. Your kids can even pick out their favorite molds and make their own frozen pops!
Popsicles With Heavy Cream
These popsicles are really easy to make. The heavy cream and cream cheese make them taste a combination of ice cream and freezer pops. Plus, they have lots of healthy fats – so they are will fill you up too.
The easiest way to make them is with a blender or a food processor. You’ll need to puree the strawberries. I used fresh strawberries, but you can also use frozen strawberries too.
Kid-Friendly Keto Snacks
Not only will kids love eating them, but these are fun for kids to make too. Kids love sticking the popsicle sticks into the strawberry cheesecake mixture.
When your kids ask for a popsicle this summer, make a batch of these! They don’t have any added sugar, so they are fantastic for your kid’s health.
How Long Can You Freeze Strawberries
I love freezing fresh strawberries and using them in smoothies and popsicles. Strawberries will stay fresh in the freezer for 8-12 months.
How To Store Popsicles
Keep your popsicles in the freezer. They will stay fresh in the freezer for about 3 months.
Cheesecake Pops
Half of these popsicles are made with strawberry puree and the other half is a delightful cheesecake layer. I used both cream cheese and heavy whipping cream in this layer.
The vanilla makes it taste like a rich cheesecake. Then, don’t forget about the sweetener! I found that the Swerve confectioner’s sugar blends in the best and gives it a really thick consistency.
Keto Summer Treats
These are some of my and my family’s favorite summer treats! I have quite a few summertime recipes that are my go-to’s. I find myself craving keto mint chocolate chip ice cream all the time! It tastes just like a chocolate mint candy bar.
My kids love my keto peanut butter mousse because it has a fluffy texture that reminds them of pudding. I love it because it is a fantastic source of protein.
Another fun low-carb summer treat is a keto ice cream sandwich. This recipe tastes just like the kind you’d buy from the store, but without any added sugar.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Freeze Time: 240 minutes
Servings: 10
Ingredients:
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Cream Cheese
- Vanilla Extract
- Swerve Confectioner’s Sweetener
- Strawberries
Instructions:
Start out by adding heavy whipping cream to a large mixing bowl, whip until soft peaks form. Next add the cream cheese, its easier if it’s broken into pieces so you don’t have to over mix the heavy cream. Add in vanilla extract, and confectioner’s sweetener. Blend until fully combined.
Scoop two-thirds of the cream cheese mixture into a bowl. Gently fold 1/2 cup of the strawberries into the cream cheese mixture you just removed.
Add ½ cup strawberries into blender with remaining cream cheese mixture. Blend on medium so that the strawberries become crushed and your mixture will become pink.
Prepare your Dixie cups by adding the pink mixture from the blender into the cups, follow by adding the white cheesecake batter on top. Place the popsicle sticks in the center of each cup.
Freeze for 4-5 hours or until the mixture is fully frozen. When ready to eat tear the cups off and enjoy!
